I feel compelled to post just to keep this blog open. I only signed in to get a look at my ye olde attempts at writing, my failed efforts to end the writer's block. I'm surprised to see that I pulled off 4,000 words in July 2015. No idea what I wrote, but gj anyway. But apparently that was the best I could do; the momentum did not continue into August. I'm pretty sure that's the last time I tried to establish a regular writing practice.
Until tomorrow, of course. It's been 8 years, just 8 years of block block block with very little respite. But I've made a lot of recent progress. I have high hopes that tomorrow can begin something good. Something I haven't experienced in, oh, 12 years? Do we count the NaNoWriMo mess? If not, more like 15 years.
I'm looking forward to it.
